New Blogger

This ordinary Mom is brand new to blogging and not really sure how to do it.  I am doing it more for myself as a personal diary, but if someone out there reads something and would like to comment, I am open to that also.  It is hard to know where to start because I feel like I need to start at the beginning.   Can I add posts then roll the date back?  Oh Help!
